How to be a strong member of the Fab City Network
The Network is the backbone of the Fab City Global Initiative. By staying in touch and engaged, we can grow an active and vibrant community of changemakers together.
Host events
Activate your local community through events to build local support for Fab City. This could include a kick-off event, workshop, policy lab, Fab City Challenge or organizing a dedicated Fab City track within a larger event.
Participate in events
Attend our online meetings, workshops and global gatherings. This is where knowledge sharing and collaboration happen.
Share the outcomes with the global Fab City community via our communication channels:
Share stories from your Fab City through our blog.
Create momentum and opportunities for your events by featuring them on the Fab City Events page.
Bring attention to news, events and activities happening within your local community to the wider global initiative by sharing your updates on social media and the newsletter. You can share your updates by completing the Network Comms Request Form.
Grow your local partnerships
Continue to grow and invest in your local ecosystem by reaching out to local initiatives, stakeholders and other organising groups that could support in the implementation of the Fab City vision outside of your founding consortium.
Stay connected
Use a single, centralized communication platform for your local community to stay connected and collaborate.
Share case studies, data and measurable impact from your local initiatives. Utilize our dedicated channels (including Slack and other structured formats) to ensure your experience contributes directly to our collective research outputs.
Contribute to the learning hub
Submit resources to our Learning Hub to enable knowledge and data sharing across the community. Do so by using our Resource Submission form. For details on the submission process, access this link.
Provide feedback
Respond to surveys that help us understand the network's needs, updates from localities and ensure the value we deliver is continually increasing.
