Pledge Ceremony and Fab City Summit
Once your application to join the Network has been approved, we’ll welcome you officially during the Network Pledge at the annual Fab City Summit.
Before the Summit, you will need to prepare the following:
Official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Fab City Foundation and New Locality, formalizing their commitment to the Fab City Global Initiative.
Schedule Final Onboarding Meeting - You will meet with the Fab City Foundation team to confirm final logistics for the Pledge Ceremony and plan your team's participation in the upcoming Fab City Summit.
Finalize Pledge Materials - You will complete and submit the required form to share all final details and materials for the ceremony:
A 1 minute pledge video highlighting your city’s commitment and any key messages or project you wish to share
A few high-quality photos (city views and/or local projects) that will help showcase your city during the ceremony.
Presentation slides for the 5 minute speech after pressing the button. The presentation should be limited to 3 slides maximum, highlighting your key projects, city objectives, and related points.
Representative details including headshots and short bios
Fab City Brand Guidelines - You will receive the Fab City brand guidelines to support announcements and promotional activities to ensure consistent and accurate representation.
During the Fab City Summit
At the annual Summit, your locality is officially welcomed, and your team begins building direct connections with the global community.
Official Pledge Ceremony - Formally commit to the Fab City Global Initiative and receive official recognition as a Fab Locality.
Fab City Network Gathering - Participate in curated sessions designed to help you connect and start collaborating with existing Fab City Network members.
Workshops, Talks and Networking - Engage in key sessions, including the Fab City Awards Roundtable for knowledge exchange and community building opportunities.
